Job Summary:

The primary function of this position will be to manage the technology resources of College Outdoors including our database, GPS units, security cameras, tv display, among others. Work has the option of being independent. The candidate will also serve as the computer instructor for less experienced staff, teaching them how to use applications and answering general computer questions that arise. Troubleshoot computer and network problems.


Must be able to use and teach most of the following applications: Excel, FileMaker Pro, MS Word, and InDesign. Also needs to have a good working knowledge of Apple computers and technology in general. Must be able to work independently with little supervision. May be asked to supervise other staff or volunteers on some projects.

Experience/Skills Gained:

Managing deadlines. Collaborating with directors to develop effective high-quality computer office support and web media for the program. Instruction of peers and supervisors on operation. Creative and technical web development and management.
