Job Summary:

Work to organize the Theatre Department’s stock of props and furniture. Manage the lending of props and furniture to students and other Portland theaters who need them.

Our stock of props and furniture is large and could easily overwhelm us if not kept in good condition. You will work closely with the Theatre Department’s Technical Director to organize, maintain and improve our stock.

Lending out items to students and other theaters is a large component of this position. You would be responsible for checking out any item, keeping a record of all items checked out and ensuring items are returned on time and in good condition.

You will be working together with our Costume Stock Manager to coordinate lending hours for easy access to both stock managers at the same time.


One semester of Theatre Lab (TH 110A) is recommended, but not required depending on prior experience. Dependability, commitment and self motivation a must. Organization skills are essential.

Experience/Skills Gained:

Foster organizational skills and management while serving a crucial roll within the Theatre Department. Gain valuable experience in the field of theatrical creation and management.

Work Schedule Summary:

Shop is open 12pm to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Hours based on student availability.
