POSTING TEXT

Job Summary:

As the House Manager, you would set up the theater before every performance and manage the crowds as well as the ushers during Theatre Department productions. You would be the public face of the Department. You would be expected to train volunteer ushers, answer questions and assist audience members.

Qualifications:

An interest in theatre is encouraged but not required. Prompt, dependable, and courteous team worker with strong interpersonal skills.

Note: If you take this position, you will not be able to audition or work backstage of any Theatre Department Productions.

Experience/Skills Gained:

Organizational and management skills in relationship to scheduling, public relations. Enhance independent problem solving.

Work Schedule Summary:

Needed for evenings when Theatre Department shows are being performed. A complete schedule will be given after position is filled.

Very few hours throughout the school year.
