Job Summary:

The Marketing and Communications dept. for the Law School needs a student to assist the director in research and writing tasks. This position requires someone who is able to research and write well. It is slated for 10 hours a week, with times/day flexible as student schedule allows. The position reports to Judy Asbury, Director of Marketing and Communications. Specific job responsibilities may include: research news stories, write news stories, research news media, create media lists, assist with photography and/or video needs, assist with social media posts, conduct social media and web analytics, create flyers (InDesign knowledge helpful), proof-reading and copy editing.

Proven ability to research and write well. Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop helpful.

Experience/Skills Gained:

Gain an understanding of how media relations, public relations and marketing is conducted.

Work Schedule Summary:

10 hours/week. Day/time is flexible within regular working hours Monday – Friday 9 AM – 5 PM.
