Job Summary:

Student Facilitators will work with college staff to plan, facilitate and evaluate the Sexual Health and Consent sessions within the PSI program. These sessions focus on sexual misconduct prevention by promoting a culture of consent, respect, and community responsibility, as well as providing resources, both on and off campus, for students who may experience sexual misconduct. Each session will be 90 minutes, with small groups of the incoming class (20-25 students in each class) led by student facilitators.

• Interest or experience in sexual health and consent education
• Experience in presenting/facilitating/public speaking
• Commitment to community responsibility for the prevention of sexual violence
• Interest or experience in leading peers
• Must be enrolled as a full time student
• Must be in good standing with the College

Work Schedule Summary:

The time commitment for these positions is as follows:

Spring Training (paid) – 16+ hours over the course of the semester (several 1.5 hour evening sessions and two Saturday 4 hour sessions).

Fall Training (paid) – 8-10 hours over weekends in early September.

SHC Sessions (paid) – 2-4 hours per week during the first 6-10 weeks of Fall term.

Other Activities – 5-10 hours per semester
