Job Summary:

The Office of Public Affairs and Communications (PubCom) is seeking an assistant to help us build a new interactive map of Lewis & Clark’s three campuses. Primary duties include photographing on-campus locations, researching campus facilities and amenities, and entering data in our content management system, LiveWhale. Secondary duties include filing, proofreading, evaluating and editing online content, and related responsibilities commensurate with the student’s skills and interests.


Experience using a digital camera, phone, or similar device to photograph images; familiarity with common computer programs and tools, or a strong motivation to learn; excellent communication skills and attention to detail; demonstrated high level of maturity and reliability necessary to work unsupervised while gathering map data at various on-campus sites; and interest in project management, content management, publishing, and/or marketing.

Work Schedule Summary:

Flexible, depending on student’s availability. 3–10 hours per week, during office hours. Hours will be available over the summer break.
