The majority of student positions On-Campus are open only to students who have either a Federal work-study (FWS) award or a Lewis & Clark work-study (LCWS) award as a part of their annual financial aid award. However, some positions On-Campus do not require work-study eligibility, and this is indicated on each individual position posting.

Adding a New Out of State Registration
Lewis & Clark College is set up for payroll taxes in the following states. Final candidate(s) who reside in a state where Lewis & Clark College is not set up requires adding a new state(s) via the following process:- The Department and the Dean’s approval
- Submitting the Adding New Out of State Registration Request Form
- The Department to absorb all registration costs
Registering a new state will take up to approximately 8 weeks. Each state has their own rules and many states require registration and taxation on day 1 when work is performed in their state.

Manager Requirements for Non-Exempt Hires
Lewis & Clark Human Resources Department requires that all remote Non-Exempt hourly employees of Lewis & Clark College and their managers follow the requirements list on the Manager Requirements - Remote Non-Exempt Hire. All managers of remote non-exempt hourly employees should consider these requirements when making hiring decisions and when supervising their hourly employees.
The current Oregon minimum wage is $14.20/hour effective July 1, 2023.
